“I was coming home from work, there was deadly silence. And suddenly there was an explosion, and I fell to the ground,” recalls Valentyna Poliak. The woman was quickly taken to an Avdiivka hospital and underwent surgery. She was badly injured, but fortunately survived. She still cannot talk about what happened without crying.
