The death of her colleague, Oleksandr Makhov, who was killed in the war, was a very painful loss for her. Liudmyla came under fire during the attack on Okhmatdyt and almost died from the blast wave. On September 28, 2025, her building was hit by a missile strike. Many people were injured, but fortunately no one was killed.
