When the full-scale war started, Yevhen sent his wife, children and grandchildren from Kurakhove, and he stayed in his hometown for another month. Then he got out to Kropyvnytskyi. Sometimes Yevhen comes to Kurakhove and does not recognise the town. It's all bombed out, and only the elderly live there, who have nowhere else to go.
