"I had ulcers on my leg when I was hiding in the basement"

Just as the airport was bombed, so we were bombed from the first days of the war. I moved in with friends who are very sympathetic to me. We, old folk, take care of each other. I walk on crutches, because one leg shorter than the other. The second leg has tulcus cruris. They appeared while I was hiding in the basement. I lived in a cellar and ran up and down again. Indeed, I was on edge. I shouted at night and did not give rest to others…

I have already planted garlic and carrots in the garden near my house. I plan to return home as soon as possible. I have nowhere else to go.
