Valentyna did not leave the village occupied by the Russians for a long time. She experienced a lot there: shelling and interrogations. The occupiers were particularly interested in Valentyna's daughter-in-law, who was born in the western region of the country. Her son was also held at gunpoint several times. So the woman's children could not stand it and left. And Valentyna kept taking care of the house, waiting for liberation. But later she had to leave the village as well.
