Tamara Yankivska

“It was a kind of premonition. I hide in a corner, and then it flies into the house”

On February 25, 2022, an artillery shell hit Tamara's house in Ivankiv. As if sensing trouble, the woman hid in a corner and survived. Her son was also lucky, as the deadly iron passed him by. Tamara handed over these shards to the Voices of the Peaceful Museum. She also said that the occupiers had their own informant in the village who went from house to house with the enemy soldiers, hiding her face.
