Tetiana has been working at the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine for 44 years — and did not leave it even when the full-scale war began. While her native village in the Chernihiv region was under russian occupation, she carefully packed exhibits, saving cultural heritage. More than a thousand museum items passed through her hands — and all were preserved. She believes it was prayer that protected them: sincere, daily — for her loved ones, for the museum, for Ukraine. And when the enemy retreated, she unpacked each exhibit with reverence and gratitude. Because the museum, like the country, endured. And just as carefully preserved artifacts are waiting for new visitors — so her heart is waiting for the day when peace and calm will return.
