Andrii became a volunteer and activist from the early days of the war, helping the residents of the Kherson region. He was also involved in evacuation. On May 3, 2023, he was under artillery shelling and suffered gunshot shrapnel wounds. He underwent several surgeries. Afterwards he returned to volunteer activities again. He underwent rehabilitation in a health resort under the program of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation "Wounded People".
