Tetiana survived a shelling of her home. It happened in Chasovyi Yar, Donetsk region. Luckily, neither she nor her husband were injured, although the blast wave threw her husband right through the room. After that, they ran to their neighbour’s basement and stayed there for two and a half weeks. The Ukrainian military helped to repair the roof. But then they had to leave anyway. The church helped them survive by providing shelter and food. Now Tetiana lives in Dnipro and says she is very lucky to have landlords who allow her to live and pay only for utilities.
