“I was badly injured. Fragments hit my back. I fell and knocked out all my teeth”

She became 20 years older just in a month – Liudmyla describes the horrors of Mariupol and the heroism of people. She recounts how shrapnel flew into the semi-basement, where the inhabitants of two neighbouring houses were trying to survive, and how that shrapnel cut through their warm clothes. She recalls how they shared the last things they had, how they returned from safety to hell in order to save another group of elderly people and children.
