“Once I got in the car with my son, I just lost my voice. I could not say a word for 12 days”

For the first 12 days of the war, we did not take off our clothes or shoes. We slept for 30 or 40 minutes a day. After the school was shelled by Grads, the principal and her staff had to evacuate. When she got in the car with her son after the horrors she had experienced, she was literally speechless. For the next 12 days, Nadiia Ukrainets did not say a single word.
