Kateryna’s husband Artem worked in the gas emergency service. In August 2023, while on a work shift, he went to eliminate the consequences of a russian missile attack. During the work, a second missile strike occurred, after which Artem was seriously injured. After coming out of a coma, the man was transferred to the neurosurgery department for further treatment. The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation helped to install an individual titanium plate to close the skull injury.
