On February 24, 2022, Oleksandr was awakened by the loud sounds of airplanes. According to Oleksandr, enemy missiles of "Kalibr" type started flying over his village of Sadove in Zaporizhzhia region. Russians were launching lethal weapons to Zaporizhzhia and beyond. The next day, military vehicles began driving through the village. The invaders entered the village in March and began to carry out the so-called mopping up. They were looking for the Ukrainian military and taking local residents for interrogation.
