“I watched the hearing and did not recognize my son, he was so tortured”

For the first time, 22-year-old Damian from Berdiansk was detained on May 24, 2022. Tetiana says that her son was tortured for a month. He was accused of nationalism because of his tattoo.

Damian Omelianenko studied at a military lyceum in Zaporizhzhia, then entered the Kharkiv National University of the Air Force. He did not have time to complete his studies. At the time of the invasion, he was a civilian.

Later, the russians detained Tetiana's son for the second time and accused him of sabotage and terrorism. Since the first days of captivity, the mother has been fighting for her son's freedom. An exchange is the only way to get Damian back.
