Crazy Wedding star Lesia Samaieva lives near Kyiv. Hostomel, Bucha and Irpin are not far from her home, and the Russians have been known to create a real nightmare there. Fortunately, the occupiers did not reach her. She was saved by the fact that they blew up a bridge on the Zhytomyr highway. In those days, the sky was red, something was constantly flying, exploding, burning. It was very scary because there was a real war going on around us.
Then Lesia's family decided to move to the Khmelnytskyi region. They stayed there with relatives for three weeks, and then, when Kyiv region was liberated, they returned home.
Many of Lesia's colleagues are now serving in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The actress admits that she will be grateful to them until the end of her days. Now she prays that the boys will return home unharmed.
