The village of Piskivka felt the full force of russian airstrikes. Local resident Halyna recounts how she first saw the strike - a column of fire halfway across the sky and a shockwave that threw a woman to the floor. At the end of February 2022 and throughout March, fighting continued near the village in the Kyiv region. People died, people became disabled and destroyed houses fell down. There was a shortage of food. For 10 days, the village did not see bread. The silence came on March 30, but before that, the enemy managed to strike, destroying another residential building.
"There was an explosion, and half the sky was covered in such a column of smoke. I touch myself - I'm alive"
