Anna worked as a nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit in Mariupol. From March 6 to March 24, she lived in the hospital with her 14-year-old daughter, Eva. They survived terrible shelling, saved the wounded, were in their dying hours several times. When there were airstrikes, they lay down on the floor. Anna covered her daughter with herself. And Eva screamed: “Mommy, I don’t want to die. I’m only 14!”
