Anastasia talks about the most terrible month of her life. On February 25, 2022, she and her husband and two young children thought they were moving away from danger. But in fact, she found herself in the epicentre of military actions. Rakivka, in the Buchanskyi district, was occupied on the same day. And right before that, Anastasia almost died during an attack by russian helicopters. 

The days in the occupation dragged on endlessly, without electricity, water, and communications. The only source of information was an old radio receiver. It was terribly cold. Hunger. And most importantly – the enemy lived right on the same street. There were daily attacks, the village was covered with smoke from artillery shots. 

Later, Anastasia found out that there was a so-called execution list of residents of Rakivka. A pit was even dug for a mass grave.
