Yuliia works at Lyceum No. 34 in Kyiv. At the beginning of the invasion, the school became a kind of fortress that welcomed everyone who sought refuge. The work and support of her colleagues was what gave her the strength to hold on and live in the first days of the russian invasion. Yuliia remembers a terrible day when an enemy missile hit between the houses near her school. Everything was covered with glass, and frightened children were crying in the shelter. The school took the blast wave and became a buffer that protected the nearby houses. The woman does not put her life on hold. The war made her realise that the most valuable thing is children and their protection.
