“I am an asthmatic, disabled person of the 2nd group, I sleep poorly at night. On February 24, I fell asleep only in the morning. When the phone rang and my nephew said that war had broken out, I could not believe it. The grocery stores in our town were immediately empty. We were given bread one loaf at a time. My children were in Mariupol, and there was no communication with them. I couldn't find a place because of the worry, so I was distributing humanitarian aid to distract myself from bad thoughts,” says Lana Velychko from Lysychansk. When her children got in touch, she decided to leave the city. She took only a small bag and four cats with her.
