Olha Lieshchenkova — mother of a fallen Hero of Ukraine. Ivan Lieshchenkov — one of the commanders of the 93rd Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar." The war for the family began back in 2014, when their village on the border with Luhansk region was occupied by russians. In August 2014, Ivan completed the military department and swore allegiance to Ukraine. Olha and her husband could not be present at this important event precisely because of the occupation. The woman was a primary school teacher and refused to sign documents "of allegiance to the LNR." The family was forced to leave everything behind and leave. They met the full-scale invasion in Kharkiv. On the 141st day of the invasion, Ivan was killed on the battlefield. His brigade carried out difficult operations, and he himself became a legend among his brothers-in-arms.
