On the morning of February 24, 2022, Anastasiia was surprised by her parents, who began to quickly pack. Only from the news the girl learned what was happening. Anastasiia's family fled the capital to Volyn, to their relatives, because of the full-scale war. The journey took a long time due to traffic jams. Anastasiia's father was a sapper, and he died heroically during his service.
