Larysa is a volunteer from Zhytomyr. With the help of her friends and her own perseverance, she learned how to make camouflage nets for the soldiers. “Your fingers freeze, but you keep working,” Larysa recalls the cold March days of 2022, when people came together to resist the enemy.

And she was also very worried about her daughter and granddaughter, whom she personally drove to the Polish border and handed over to an unfamiliar Polish gentleman. Three years later, she is still friends with the Poles who gave shelter to her loved ones, and she has nothing but kind words for them.
