Iryna Borovlyova

“My father died, and my mother was wounded on the same day”

At the beginning of a full-scale offensive, Iryna managed to leave Bakhmut, but her parents did not want to leave Klishchiivka. On October 16, 2022, her father was killed in his garden, and a few hours later, her mother was wounded. Doctors and rescuers refused to go to the dangerous village, and Iryna’s mother was taken by the military to the Konstiantynivka hospital. Now both women live together in Kyiv.
