Yurii Polidovych is a leading scythologist at the National Museum of the History of Ukraine, an archaeologist and head of the treasury department. His research not only enriches the scientific base, but also contributes to the popularization of Ukrainian history among a wide audience. The war for the scientist began back in 2014, when he left occupied Donetsk and moved to the capital. 

Mr. Yurii is one of those who knows almost everything about one of the most valuable treasures of Ukraine and a masterpiece of World Art – the unique Scythian pectoral. The exhibit, as well as tens of thousands of other artifacts, are kept in the Museum of historical jewels in Kyiv. Thanks to the efforts of Mr. Yurii and his colleagues, Ukrainians have the opportunity to better understand their history and cultural heritage, especially during the war.
