On March 4, Anastasia died at the hands of the Russian occupiers. Anastasia and her friends volunteered, and that day they were leaving the dog shelter.

Now I understand that it is very important to be able to see your nearest and dearest

"Now I understand that it is very important to be able to see your nearest and dearest. Soon we will all be together, in peace and security. I believe in that" - posted Anastasia from Kyiv in her Telegram channel.

She published it on February 26. It was the third day of Russian full-scale aggression. On that point Russia had already murdered 198 of Ukrainian civillians, according to official figures. Three of them were kids.

Anastasia Yalanska was 26 years old. She created her Telegram channel quite recently. She planned to write about her work, books she was reading, and her everyday life. "Each new day there will be a new text. May I have good luck and inspiration" - she posted on it.

And really, every day, since January 30, Anastasia wrote something in her Tg. However, on March 4 her subscribers didn't see a recap of her day. Anastasia was killed.

Anastasia volunteered with her friends, Sergiy Ustimeko and Maksym Kuzmenko. They helped people most in need. They were returning from a dog shelter and got under fire near Bucha. It happened close to the house of Segiy's parents. They didn't manage to get there. All of them were killed. We will tell about Sergiy and Maksym later.

Rest in peace!
