Maryna lived in Kherson not far from the famous Chornobaivka. And on the very first day of the full-scale invasion, they heard explosions from that side. The son left with the child, while Maryna and her husband stayed in Kherson, which was occupied very soon. Raids and searches began. People were intimidated, captured, maimed, and killed. A week after the liberation of Kherson, the invaders began bombing the city, and Maryna and her husband left for Kropyvnytskyi.
