Iryna spent 8 long months in occupied Kherson. To avoid facing the russian military, she went to her dacha. Without electricity and water, she cooked meals using water from the water utility. But the fiercest enemy shelling of the city began immediately after its liberation. Now there is nothing left of her much-loved dacha, which once saved her, as the water took away the house after the russians blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. Now Iryna lives in the village of Kotsiubynske in the Kyiv region, where she joined the volunteer association Vyshyvanka dlia tanka from the very first days.
