Yelyzaveta is from Starokostiantyniv, a town that has been under attack since the first days of the war. Due to the constant threat, her family moved to the Czech Republic, where Yelyzaveta continued her studies. But her heart remained at home.

And Yelyzaveta returned. Because she understood: her place was here. In a country that is hurting, but worth fighting for. She enrolled at the Institute of International Relations to become part of the reconstruction, part of the future.

One day, a Shahed fell right next to the building. A few hours later, students were cleaning up the debris together — because this is also about education, about responsibility, about their country. Yelyzaveta looks ahead with faith that her knowledge will become the building blocks of a new Ukraine. Because that is why she returned.
