Oksana fled the war twice. First, to a summer house in the Vyshhorodskyi district of the Kyiv region, where she found herself under occupation and hid from the Russians in the forest. Then, abroad, looking for safety and peace. But the heart called her home. She returned to Kyiv, because at home — even in anxiety — she could breathe easier. However, the war found her again: a Shahed hit her house. Oksana survived. Her neighbour and her son died.
