russian troops entered Mykola’s native village on March 5, 2022. The equipment entered the centre of the village, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine ambushed them. A shootout ensued, which stopped the russian column, but Mykola notes that there were also casualties among the Ukrainian military. The russian troops remained in the village for another three days, after which they started strengthening their positions and preparing a new offensive.
