Nataliia witnessed the start of the full-scale invasion while on sick leave.  She woke up to noise and screams outside her window  and could hear distant, unexplained explosions.  Later, she had to hide from the occupiers among trees and bushes. The woman recalls that rumours were spreading among the locals about Russian atrocities in neighbouring villages.  The invaders acted methodically, carrying out cleansing operations gradually, and the locals were constantly terrified.
