In Mariupol, along with her daughter Nataliia, she was a step away from death several times.

"Suddenly a bright light, a rumble. We roll over and run to the bathroom. While we are running away, the second and third explosions. Aerial bombs on the village of Parkove. The fourth explosion made the house jump. What should we do? Our hands are frozen from fear. When we got out, everything was broken. The room was cut with fragments, the furniture was lying in the place where we slept. There was almost no parking space,” Mariupol resident Nataliia Vasylieva says.
