"Russian troops threatened to shoot the buses if the Berdiansk residents got on them"

At the beginning of full-scale invasion, Mariana was separated from her children. Her parents took her little daughter and son from Berdiansk to Orikhiv. At the time, we thought: it would be safer this way. But both cities were hit by dense missile attacks. The russians occupied Berdiansk in the first days, and Mariana was "stuck" in the city. The occupiers, threatening to shoot Berdiansk residents, forbade them to take the bus columns that took Mariupol residents to Zaporizhzhia. The monks helped the woman. They sent refugees to Tokmak. From there, Mariana was already able to enter the territory controlled by Ukraine. The family was reunited, but was already under fire in Orikhiv.
