Yevhen lived with his family on the Left Bank. The bombing of the area began on the first day of the full-scale invasion.
“1st floor. A rocket hit. I was hit. 5-6 people were killed, I was the only one who got out from under the slab. People were burning. There were screams. We ran out with our children. We were barefoot. We went to the center,” said Yevhen, a resident of Mariupol.
Yevhen lost his eldest son. He and his family were able to leave on March 15, although he had been on the “DPR” list since 2014 because he was volunteering.
