Daria Voronyak

"Wounded from the territorial defence unit, he did not sleep for four days. All the time, he was screaming and trying to get back"

Dariia put her two cats in the carrier, got behind the wheel and drove to work. She ended up spending almost three months in Ohmadyt with the cats. She bought litter boxes for the cats at a pet shop nearby.

At first, Dariia was hesitant about whether to leave or not. But since she was the Head of the Department, her responsibility was the factor that tipped the scales in favour of staying. Wounded were constantly brought to the hospital. Dariia helped as much as she could. She even washed the floor in the operating theatre.
