Yevhen left Bakhmut on September 23, 2022. He lived near a military town and, after the shelling, decided to move with his family and mother to a large supermarket, where he worked as an electrician. During the russian bombardment by the GBU, Yevhen miraculously survived, having managed to hide from the debris. After two more heavy shelling attacks, the family decided to leave Bakhmut.
