Dmytro lived in the left-bank part of Mariupol, which was subjected to artillery shelling and russian air raids from the very first days. In such circumstances, he and his neighbours managed to get on with their lives and help each other. This continued until the man heard that evacuation may be carried out from the territory of the Drama Theatre. After that, he moved to the Theatre's shelter. But unfortunately, this place did not become a reliable shelter. During the bombing, Dmytro was inside and miraculously survived.
