The village where Oleksandr lived is located off the road to Kherson, so the russians entered it a month after the war began. Later, they started looking for National Guard members, ATO soldiers, and Afghans. Oleksandr worked for a security agency and was held in a detention center for a week. He was interrogated and tortured. Eventually, Oleksandr was released and he, his wife and six children were able to evacuate to Kyiv.
