"Classmate Vika died a week after her mother"

I had a girl named Vika study in my class a year ago. I am from Donetsk, and Vika was from Petrivka. She would wear tattered, dirty clothes, and covered in bruises. Other children would always scoff at her.

She said that a shell had flown into her house. Father was killed, mother had her hand cut off. A few months later her mother died, too. Vika died a week after her mother. She was hit by an explosive mine.
