A boy whose parents exchanged him from russian captivity for vodka. An elderly man wounded by a cluster shell. A family that was crawling out under shelling. Tetiana Volochniuk, elementary school teacher, will remember these stories for the whole life.
During the full-scale invasion, a gymnasium in the village of Turivka became a place where more than fifty people found shelter. The fearless staff of the institution, together with their fellow villagers, had been hosting the victims of war for over a month. They had been feeding, providing with cloths, sending them further along the evacuation route, even more. A wedding was urgently arranged in the gymnasium! The whole village was looking for a dress and a suit, and the a newly married couple was presented with wedding rings.
