Serhii Myrnyi is a former radiation reconnaissance commander and ecologist, and also one of the country’s greatest experts on the Chornobyl Zone. It was him to whom acquaintances began to send information about the movement of russian equipment, and Serhii forwarded this information further to the Ukrainian military. A very important role at the beginning of the invasion was played by the camera that survived and continued to broadcast events in the Exclusion Zone.
Serhii says that he did not even have time to eat – that’s how intensely the information was coming in. For the first time he left his home ten days after the beginning of the invasion and ate the most delicious pizza of his life, baked at “Silpo.”
