"I didn't leave, because I can't leave my house"

I brought food from the social canteen to the old people on our street, ignoring the sounds of explosions. But my wife could not stand life under fire and left Dokuchaievsk. I stayed, because I couldn't leave my house. I also had to look after the houses on our street. People have left, so I look after their houses, feed the dogs, make sure that nothing has been stolen.

I didn't leave, because I can't leave my house

I have a very small supply of food in the fridge. I eat one loaf of bread for four days. I keep the canned food in case another shooting begins. This is my emergency ration.
