"We were thrown by the explosion, my little son was very scared"

On January 2, a Russian missile exploded in a residential area of Kyiv's Solomianskyi district. One of the buildings on Mokra Street took the worst hit.

Olha and her young son were thrown by the shockwave. When she looked out of the window, she saw that the neighbouring stairwells were in flames. The enemy attack continued, and Olha and her son ran for cover. The explosion was a psychological blow for the child, and now he flinches from loud noises.
