Liliya Kotova

"A shell flew over us. Grad rockets started firing, and the tanks started moving away"

Liliia cannot remember her hometown without crying. After the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, Mariupol turned into a horror film set. Destroyed buildings, murdered people who were not buried, hunger, cold and a complete information vacuum. The Kotov family managed to leave the city under fire. Liliia's mother could not be taken out. Later, they found out that the woman had died.
