Viktoriia met the full-scale war in Kyiv — and stayed. When all her neighbours left, she slept between two walls, on a sofa near the elevator, hiding from the shelling. She saw a missile hit the building on Lobanovskoho Avenue, and later — the Okhmatdyt hospital. Yet despite fear and constant explosions, Viktoriia did not lose faith: her work, family, husband, children and grandchildren give her the strength to hold on. She lives in the capital that remains under constant enemy fire, but she says: you get used to everything. And above all — she dreams of victory, peace, and the preservation of Ukrainian identity.
