"We were totally at a loss when packing things in pillowcases"

I live in the city of Donetsk, and the was in my city has ongoing for five years already.

I am very grateful to my parents for not feeling the pain of war. In July 2014 we left for another city -  Mariupol.

I will remember, though, July of 2014 for a long time as the time of pain from war, people's suffering and confusion.

We were at a loss when packing things in pillowcases, in bags, because we could hear the bombardment.    It was very frightening.

At the end of 2015, we returned home, hoping that it was all over. At that time, everything was just beginning, and it has been going on for five years. I hope that someday it will end and we will witness peace.
