Vira Ivanivna struggles to hold back tears as she recounts the three and a half years of war she has witnessed in Kyiv. There was the shock of the first few days, and then the fear every night as enemy missiles flew over residential buildings. It was sleepless nights when you didn’t wake up in the morning, but simply left the shelter. The woman did not leave the city and does not want to do so. She tries to keep herself busy with work, because that is the only way to cope with the constant pressure of war.
