Larysa has lived in Donetsk all her life. She is a doctor and worked with rescuers and Chornobyl victims. When the Euromaidan began, she made up her mind about her pro-Ukrainian position. Larysa, her husband and father took part in pro-Ukrainian rallies, and often the participants were beaten. Larysa saw her home town turning back into the past. And the family left Donetsk in 2019 with heartbreak.
