Olena and her family were in Mariupol until March 22, 2022. She was with her husband and daughters, one of whom has a disability. When they returned home from the shelter to get their belongings and documents, they saw that everything around them was destroyed and that there were many dead people in the streets. Afterwards, they left Mariupol on foot. By some miracle, they managed to reach Zaporizhzhia, and then Oleksandriia. Olena has now received housing in the  “I’Mariupol” dormitory in Dnipro.
